Tip
This page outlines the specific moderation-related actions that may be performed by non-moderator members (referred to here as external moderators). These individuals are granted limited, conditional permissions to assist with certain community functions.

Permission Requirements:
All actions listed in the tables below require explicit approval from the Moderation Team (MT) before being carried out. There are two exceptions to this rule:
MaD debugging may be performed freely and does not require prior approval.
Event bans may be issued directly by the event host without requesting MT permission.

Scope and Limitations:
External moderators are not official moderators. As such, they must not:
Handle moderation appeals of any kind.
Act beyond the specific permissions outlined in this documentation.

Discord Policy:
External moderators have no authority or involvement in any Discord-related moderation or actions.
Please review the tables below for a detailed breakdown of the approved actions and their conditions.
It is important to note that none of the listed parties are considered Moderators and cannot use their access in order to enforce the Foundation Terms of Service unless otherwise stated.
Members of the Office of Internal Affairs are granted access to limited commands in order to conduct their duties and enforce Foundation Law.
Moderation Access
Agents cannot use their moderation commands in any way unless one of the following conditions are met:
- The Auditor attempting to use moderation commands is on the Office of Internal Affairs team.
Members of the Office of External Relations who are qualified as Raid Moderators are granted access to limited moderation commands in order to conduct their duties.
Moderation Access
Raid Moderators cannot use their moderation commands in any way unless the following conditions are met:
- The Raid Moderator attemping to use moderation commands is on the Raid Moderation team.
- There is a pre-planned raid in the raid system.
- It is at least 10 minutes before the pre-planned raid begins.
Members of the Lore & Stories team within the Manufacturing Department are granted access to limited moderation commands in order to conduct their duties.
Moderation Access
Lore Authors cannot use their moderation commands in any way unless the following conditions are met:
- The Lore Author attemping to use moderation commands is on the Manufacturing Department team.
- A Senior Developer+ has ran the "authorize Lore_Event" command.
Members of the Development Branch are granted access to many comammands in order to conduct their duties and maintain a smooth gameplay experience for all players.
Manufacturing Limitations & Regulations
For further information on the in-game authority of developers, please refer to the Manufacturing Limiations & Regulations
Not all commands that developers have access to are listed. Commands unlisted are commands that are unrelated to moderation and instead are for debugging or hotfixing issues.
Members ranking Site Director and higher are granted access to many moderation related commands. Their access to these are only granted for the reason of emergency moderation.
Department Executives are trusted with limited commands in order to better the gameplay experience of other players.

Out of bounds is defined as being in an area that is not intended to be possible to reach. Examples of this can be on-top of hallways, inside of gaps between walls, or in the void. It is important to note that trespassing DOES NOT count as being out of bounds.↩
